...one free official drink........
.......here..
................ 1 1/2 ounces lemon
vodka
1/2 ounce cointreau
dash of fresh grenadine, made from real pomegranates,
not red sugar water
1/2 ounce lemon juice.

Both of this drink should be prepared like a sidecar.

If you want a little more red in the drink try this. Pour grenadine into a saucer, just enough to cover most of it. On another saucer do the same thing with roses lime juice. Carefully dip one half the rim of a glass into the roses and the other half in the grenadine doing your best to not mixthem. Then roll the glass in a plate of superfine sugar. If you have done your job correctly you will have a sugared rim half red and half white. Another note. If Maraschino is available to you you can substitute it forthe cointreau in the previous two recipes. My first born was due to day but it looks like she might be late. Wouldn't it be ironic if it was on your anniversary? Either of these drinks will go nicely strained over ice with a splash of soda water on top.
